CRANSTON – Portuguese authentic dishes and delicacies, live folklore, regional craftsmanship and a homemade wine contest are some of the things you'll be able to enjoy this Sunday at the R.I. Day of Portugal Gastronomy and Folklore Fair.The event is held annually on a rotating basis among Portuguese-American organizations headquartered in various Rhode Island cities and towns. This year, it will take place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Cranston Portuguese Club, located at 20 Second Avenue.R.I. Day of Portugal Committee President Ana Isabel dos Reis-Couto told O Jornal that organizers have been cooking up a few changes for this edition.
