Sofia is seen speaking with ABC 6 News, Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2022. (WLNE)CRANSTON, R.I. (WLNE) — 'She doesn't have two hands, she doesn't qualify for the $45 requirement.' That's what 22-year-old Sofia said she was told after getting denied having her reward card stamped at Diva Nails Salon in Cranston Monday. Sofia has been an amputee for almost her whole life after a blood clot at a young age left her with one arm. The Rhode Island College student said when she was checking out at her usual nail salon, she asked for her loyalty reward card to be punched just like the person in front of her did.
